Renovations are Complete!
The long awaited pool deck renovations have been completed. We are looking forward to being able to see everyone again.
The Scranton Sea Knights is a competitive swim club. Our goal is to provide a healthy, team driven environment for our swimmers and provide them with the tools necessary to be successful in the sport.
Boys and girls who are 14 years of age and younger (we’ve had kids as young as 5!!!) are eligible to join the team. As this is a competitive program, we expect swimmers to demonstrate reasonable ability in the water. The age categories are: 14 and under, 12 and under, 10 and under, and 8 and under. Age groups swim different distances. Our 8 and under children swim 25 yards (one pool length), but may at times swim a race of 50 yards. Swimmers who are 9-12 predominantly swim 50 yard races and can occasionally swim 100 and 200 yard distances. Our 14 and under group swim mostly 100-200 yard races in the free style and individual medley. Throughout the year, every swimmer will have the opportunity swim a variety of different races and distances. The swimmers may swim in events in their age’s groups or older age groups, but cannot compete in younger groups.
